Welcome to the Quantitative Research Methods for the Social Sciences course,  Autumn 2026!

This course will help you understand statistical reasoning in data analysis and research. You will learn about methods to describe data, compare groups, and study relationships between social factors. In the project part of the course, you will analyse data from your own data set or one of the data sets provided within the course.

Course period: November 2rd - January 17th
Preliminary Schedule.   Note that we start 15 minutes past every full hour (the rooms are booked 15 minutes before the teaching activities start)
Please double-check the schedule before the course starts for any changes. Please note that this course has three obligatory meetings: "Article seminar", "End Seminar", and oral exam
