Welcome to the course Introduction to data science, Spring semester 2022. The course starts March 24 and is given at 50 % study pace.

Note that all course literature is freely available online except for one book, Weapons of math destruction : how big data increases inequality and threatens democracy by Cathy O'Neil, that you need to buy or borrow at the library. One seminar will be based on this book and you need to read it before the seminar. This book is available in paperback and costs about 110-150 SEK depending on the book store. Make sure you have bought/borrowed the book when the course starts.
